In event of loss by FIRE, FLOOD, or other PERIL, it is recommended that you engage their expert services for the following reasons.

The responsibility for preparing the fully detailed and documented claim rests with you. The Loss Adjusters appointed by the Insurers will not prepare the claim for you as this would lead to a conflict of interests. They cannot serve two masters.

If you were to decide to prepare the claim yourselves, you would be embarking upon a course of action with which you are perhaps far from familiar. It is unlikely that the required specialist skills will be available within your circle of employees, whose time would be better left free to concentrate on the crucial task of re-establishing your business for its future existence.
